| Hi my name is Melissa. I spend a lot of my time in nature. I enjoy gardening, music, dancing, and yoga. I practice mindfulness each day. I also consider myself a life long learner, so I like a good book or documentary. I think that there’s a lot that we can learn from children. I love watching them learn and grow each day. The past three and a half years I have worked at a licensed daycare. It has been an absolutely amazing experience, filled with so much learning. The first 1.5 years I cared for children 2-5 years of age. The past two years I have worked out of an infant toddler program, caring for children 5 mo to 2.5 years. I think that this is such a special growth period for children. I enjoy singing songs with the children, story time, outdoor play, and art.
