Hello, my name is Sarah and I'm writing to apply for the Babysitter position with your family. I have 3 years of experience working with children, including jobs at summer camps and children's museums. I've been babysitting regularly for the last two years. My experience, combined with my CPR and first aid certification, makes me a great candidate for your new Babysitter.
My most recent Babysitter position was with a family of 4 whose children ranged from ages 2 to 12. I'm sure you can imagine the constant commotion involved in caring for 2 children, but it's the kind of challenge I find fun and exciting. Three days a week, I helped the older kids get ready for school and then stayed with the younger children until their parents got home from work.
During the day, the younger children and I would play games, do arts and crafts, enjoy educational activities and have a home-cooked lunch. I was also available to care for the older children when they stayed home sick from school or to babysit nights and weekends when the parents wanted a date night. My clients have often expressed appreciation for my adaptability, enthusiasm and ability to handle any type of situation.
