The ideal candidate will be a friendly, gentle-hearted, and confident individual with a passion for supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. Job Requirements: 3+ years of experience working with children/adults with developmental disabilities Current Vulnerable Sector Police Clearance Valid driver's license and own transportation Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, with additional hours available Willingness to undergo necessary training and work collaboratively as part of a team Job Responsibilities: Assist with medication administration and encourage water/fluid intake Support meal preparation and assist with household chores Assist with hygiene and bathing, and promote healthy living activities Implement and facilitate a daily schedule, and engage in learning activities Provide quality and compassionate care to support daily living skills Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday, 8:30am-12:30pm (flexible hours may be available) Rate of Pay: $20-$25 per hour.

Home health nurse must have sharp assessment skills to anticipate patient risks and monitor changes during visit. Strong leadership skills to delegate to and carry out their care. Able to function as absent physician's eyes and ears, so you are responsible for communicating the patient’s status to the patient or to patients physician. In addition, home health nurse needs strong communication and teaching skills to instruct families and patients on delivering treatments if needed at home and how to reduce complications or attend to complications. Requirements and Qualifications ( Required ) : Must be Licensed as a Registered Practical Nurse in the province of practice Unvaccinated vaccination status • Canadian Nurses Association certification in Community Health Nursing as an asset • For positions requiring expertise in a specific field of clinical practice, additional degrees or certificates may be required. • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are required • A current and original copy of a satisfactory Criminal Records Check is required and a Vulnerable Sector Search and/or a Child Abuse Registry Check may be required • Clinical practice experience is an asset • Experience in community health is an asset • The use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be required Experience in visiting local Nurse Service (VNS)

For 2 weeks a month would need someone from 630am to 830am, would be responsible for getting our 2 boys out of bed, making sure they eat there breakfast, giving there daily medication, making sure they get dressed and dropped off at school

Looking for someone to help get our son on and off the school bus. He has an intellectual disability. He is very social and will be fully ready. He simply cannot stay home alone due to safety reason. It would be for 45mins-1 hour in the morning and roughly an hour after school.

Looking for care up to 6 hours on Saturday and Sunday Afternoon/Evenings. We are looking for an experienced, patient and caring individual who will take the time to work with our child in our home and take him out into the community on occasion (parks/nature walks) while we work/run errands.
