Care Assistant for Daily Living

We are a physically disabled couple looking to hire a caregiver. We have our own home that is renovated to meet our accessibility needs but we require assistance with daily tasks. These include but are not limited to:
• Daily assistance showering and getting dressed for work Monday-Friday from 6am-8am.
• Assistance to clean wheelchair and place pads in case of incidentals
• Daily home management tasks (sweeping, making the bed, meal prep, laundry)
• Weekly washing of bedsheets, mopping floors and cleaning countertops
• Weekly grocery runs. We have a vehicle which we transfer into but would need someone to drive and get our wheelchairs in and out of vehicle
• Accompany to medical appointments upon request
• Facilitate leisure outings by driving vehicle, assisting to change clothes and transfer in and out of swimming pool
• Attend community events and assist with plating food, shopping and getting safely from place to place by foot or vehicle
• Occasionally required to stay overnight when ill
• Biking/skiing
• Yard maintenance/gardening
$83 - $1075 Hr. / Day

We have a 10 year old daughter with special needs named Isabel. She is in a wheelchair with limited to no mobility and is non verbal. She is fed through a feeding tube and there would be a requirement of lifting or transferring her from chair to ground and vice versa. She is around 40lbs and fairly non muscular. She has many things she is affected by and we can discuss those in more detail at a later time. We would need Monday-Thursday 2:30pm-6:30pm. We also have a 12 year old daughter who is pretty self sufficient and would get home after 3:00p
