Our family is looking for various levels of support for our father who is in an electrical wheelchair and has minor cognitive disabilities. Looking to either completely replace existing care support network or supplement. Compensation dependent on tasks. Opportunity for room and board and only provide care in emergency situations. Or the opportunity to provide intermittent daytime support. 2-4 month duration while he is on an AHS wait list for long term care placement. Ceiling mounted electric lifts with sling in bedroom and bathroom. He is fairly independent and cruises around the city throughout the day and visits family. Prepares basic meals himself, but often requires supervision. Current level of care involves support for morning shower and dressing. Lunchtime transfer from wheelchair to toilet. Evening washroom and getting ready for bed. Occasional washroom break in afternoon. Cheers

My son has food allergies, developmental delays, and eczema. He needs mild- mod assistance with personal care. He likes to play mostly imaginative games and sometimes likes to go out.

I am a mom of a school aged child, with ADD, and a chronic pain condition. I am on AISH, and have a service dog. I require assistance in many areas including general household upkeep, cleaning, organizing and decluttering, managing errands, meal planning, managing scheduling (doctors appointments and activities) reminding me about things (like how long has it been since youve seen a dentist?) filling out paper work, bookkeeping, managing bills, reminders to eat and drink water, coming up with routines and plans to make ADD life more managable, and general day to day stuff that healthy people have no problem keeping up on. Experience with neurodivergence is a must. You don't need to be an expert in all fields, am quite capable of doing most of it myself, but executive dysfunction is strong when I'm alone. Honestly just having someone around to do some vacuuming while reminding me to stay on task with my paperwork and telling me to drink water would be a huge help. I would require someone to help at the end of each month to help plan the next month scheduling and bills, and then periodically through the week to make sure I'm keeping up on tasks. Please send help.

Looking for an energetic and engaging girl to come and hang out with our daughter. She likes to go on outings, including swimming once per week. She has autism and would like to make new friends. She enjoys drawing and watching YouTube. She has done a variety of activities over the years including horseback riding, skating, swimming, curling, track and field, bowling, art classes and so forth. If you come to work with her, your duties would include working on some life skills goals we have set out for her, some meal prep and ensuring she is fed. She needs supervision and companionship. We are looking for a couple of part-time workers to come spend time with her. Variable hours. Right now our priority is Wednesdays from 8-4:30 but we are also looking to fill the rest of the week with the remaining 28 hours per week we have available.

Looking for summer respite in Red Deer for my 18 year old son while I work. He has cerebral palsy and Lennox Gastaut syndrome. - Starting ASAP - Days: Monday to Friday - Hours: between 7 and 5, but we’re not exactly sure the start time yet.  - Some days might be a later start or possible early finish depending on his dads work schedule, there could be earlier days if he’s not busy *at my house we do have 2 dogs and 2 cats, and at times my 14 and 9 year olds will be here but they are self sufficient.* I’m looking for someone that will engage him in some activities that he likes - reading - going for walks  - riding his bike - swinging on his swing  - going for drives - maybe occasionally swimming or a beach day - any other activities you can think of and they’d all be paid by us for the both of you.  Must be comfortable with feeding, diapering, walking him from bedroom to living room/kitchen and getting him up and down the stairs (he does pretty good) We will hopefully have a folding wheelchair soon that would make for easier transport for activities. We live in Anders, must have reliable transportation. I am ok with you bringing your own child along as long as they are fairly self sufficient and can be respectful of my dogs (no toddlers or babies please) This will be full time for the month of July, then we will discuss hours for August as the position will be shared with a second person.

I am looking for someone who is able to transport my son to and from his Theatre group on Mondays, it runs from 4:30-6:30 They would need to stay and assist if he needs it. It’s a long time and may just need a break, or a walk. He is 16 and high functioning but has anxiety.
