Looking for an individual who is passionate about working with children with disabilities to provide care for our 14 year old daughter. Respite care as well as domestic aide services needed. Somewhat flexible with hours but will mainly be evenings and some wkds/daytime over summer.

I need help taking care of my son, he's 7 years old and autistic. I need the services for 3-4 hrs.

Our family is in need of a housekeeper/nanny. We would require laundry and light house work in the early afternoon and then to pick up our 2 school aged children (7 & 9) from elementary school nearby our home and feed and care for them until we arrive home from work. Hours are 1-4:30pm Monday through Thursday and 10am-4pm on Friday for a total of 20/hours a week. Our 7 year old son is high functioning autistic and adhd.

Male adult with muscular dystrophy needs personal care and respite services in his home. Caregiver responsibilities: 1. Provide assistance with transfers, showering, toileting, dressing; mouth, hair, beard, nail care, and…. 2. Prepare breakfast and lunch. 3. Light housekeeping. 4. Other related duties as assigned. Work schedule: Monday, Wednesday: 9:30-12:30 h Monday: 20:00 - 21:00 h Friday: 10:00-14:00 h and 17:00-18:00 h Additional flexible hours as needed. Qualifications: Previous personal care aid experience is an asset. Personal qualities: • Reliable, punctual, and confidential. • Able to understand verbal and written instructions in English. • Willing to taking directions but also taking charge if necessary. • Outgoing. Wage: Rate of pay commensurate with experience and training.

This position will require you to work with individuals with developmental disabilities. The in-home support will be around helping the individuals in completing activities of daily living, to live as independently as possible in the community, and ensure community access and participation. Responsibilities will also include accessing resources for recreation and leisure activities as well as facilitating relationship building. Job Requirements: • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision. • Insured reliable vehicle with a valid class 5 drivers’ license is preferred. • Previous experience in Disability Services is an asset. • Ability to teach and promote life skills • Willing to participate in activities with individuals requiring support The ideal candidate should have the following or be willing to work towards it within 3 months of employment • CPR/ First Aid • Police Security Check • CPI certification (Crisis Prevention Intervention) • Positive Behavior Support Participate in mandatory in-service training as indicated by the Executive Director

Looking for a male to live in a home with a 30 year male a roommate and caregiver

Job responsibilities to include getting me out of bed in the morning and putting me to bed at night. I am a quadriplegic with use of my arms. Requires the ability to use a hoyer, turn me in bed and install a diaper.
