Hi! My parents are 81 and 85 and quite independent minded but my dad is 120lbs and having mobility issues and my mom isn’t strong enough to support him in transfers between chair and wheelchair etc. We’re just exploring options and would love to connect with people who might be able to offer all-round support in terms of care, cooking and cleaning. The tricky thing is I think they’re not ready to have someone there a lot of the time but us 3 kids don’t live nearby and they might regularly need someone to help on short notice. So it might be a good job in the sense that you wouldn’t necessarily need to be there all the time but just be nearby when they call, so hoping for someone who lives in white rock/south surrey. Not sure if this is a sensible thing to look for but it’s what we need now. Hope it will be a match for someone!
