I am a 45 year old male in Upper Glenrosa with Muscular Dystrophy and use a wheelchair. My interests are sci-fi, NCIS, FBI, and home reno shows. No experience needed. Looking for someone to cover 2-3 weekday mornings. Tuesday for sure, the other days are flexible, but would prefer Sunday Monday Tuesday if possible. Prefer to start around 830am, but can do earlier or later. Typical shift is 5 hours and goes like this: - Help me sit up on my bed and give me some water and Boost drink - While waiting for me to be ready, some housekeeping like vacuuming, dishes, laundry. Once done, feel free to eat, read, do yoga, etc :) - After roughly 90 minutes, we move me to the washroom using a portable electric lift - 30 minutes after that we start the partial body washing/getting dressed - Move me to my wheelchair with the lift where we wash my hair and face - Throw some food in the microwave or instant pot - Push me to my desk, place the food in front of me, and we're done Safety is a priority so we both wear easy breathing kn95 masks while caring for me and I try to keep the windows open as much as possible. You are here for 30-45 minutes for $60(2 hours) And goes like this: - Move me to the washroom using a portable electric lift - Using the same lift, we then move me onto my bed - Adjust my body position on the bed so I'm comfortable - Throw the blanket on and we're done. Safety is a priority so we both wear easy breathing kn95 masks while caring for me and I try to keep the windows open as much as possible. The hourly rate starts at $30/hour.
