I am looking for someone to come live with us and be a surrogate/nanny to my dog and two cats. This is a very casual home and totally flexible opportunity for the right person. My dog is a lancashire heeler, 20 lbs of pepper and love. He is a rescue and has some issues of territorial behaviour around the house especially when I am home. He barks when people enter the house and may nip ankles. He has never hurt anyone but he does require a very submissive, relaxed approach until he gets to know someone. He would fall under the category of 'excitable' and does well with strangers that come in, sit at the entryway for a few minutes and let the dog get comfortable with them. He LOVES girls and will hug you all day long if you let him. Super playful, loves his toys and chewys. He goes to a doggie daycare if you ever want to inquire, he is a staff favourite named Benji. (black and tan stocky little guy). So what I am looking for is someone that can commit to entertaining him a few days a week in the form of a walk or drop off and or pick up at day care, schedule will vary as my schedule is pretty random (nurse) and can be set around your schedule too. I hope to find someone that will love him and give him attention when I'm not home and help out with the cats also. Joey and Jonny are 17 and 18 and spend nearly all their time on my bed now. The just need feeding more or less, they eat wet food so it needs refreshing whenever possible and the litter needs cleaning when I am not home. Must be a NON smoker! Please send me a message.
