We are looking for a nurturing and responsible caregiver to look after our child. We would like someone with a few years experience, references, and who lives near Qualicum Beach. It is crucial that the person hired is flexible and able to do pick ups and drop offs from the local school. We require that those pick ups and drop offs always be on time, and that the person hired may be able to stay later than expected (with additional pay of course ) if an emergency arises. Also, we own two large dogs that are incredibly friendly. They are not kept in the part of the home you are required to be in. Please respond if interested. We can't wait to hear from you!

Hi! My name is Aisling (pronounced Ashling) and my husband is Andre. We are looking for a short term, in-our-home care provider for our two boys - aged 12 months and 4 years old. We have an au pair arriving by February 10th, but require full time care for our boys beginning ASAP, but no later than the week of January 19th until the au pair arrives. We are setup for a live-in or a live-out nanny/sitter, with accommodation consisting of a very nice 36’ fifth wheel setup right next to the house, which is in Qualicum Bay. There is also a car that can be used to help with preschool pickup/drop-off of our oldest. And of course we’re happy to share meals! We require someone who can care for both boys 5 days a week (weekdays only) for the following times: Mon: 8:30 - 4:30 Tues: 9 - 4:30 Wed: 8 - 5:30 (some weeks will be earlier end time) Thur: 9:30 - 6:30 Fri: 7:30 - 4:30 We need someone who can drive, with both boys in the vehicle, so they can help drop off and pickup of our oldest at preschool in Fanny Bay. There is a car here for that purpose. We also have a hyper but obedient 5 year old vizsla dog named Copper, who you hopefully wouldn’t mind taking for a walk with the kids in our beautiful rural community. Meal preparation (breakfast and lunch) for the boys will be required, and dinner only on Thursday night. Our boys are funny, smart and charmers! The youngest is starting to walk, and our oldest loves books, legos, playing dinosaurs and has a vivid imagination!
