Hi, I am living in Pemberton and I need someone to take care of 2 children. We need an experienced and responsible childcare provider. The suitable candidate would be required to do some early 5 AM starts during the winter and 6 AM starts in the summer. I am a firefighter that works shift work and my husband works on the mtn. We are very interested in possibly finding someone to live in our suite for a reduced rent or pay rent and we pay for hours worked to help us to cover the early mornings and late evenings of work. Casual childcare for the 3 year old. Dropping and picking up kids from school or daycare/preschool. We have a large house with 2 bedroom suite that would suit a long term person to help us with the kids. There would be ample time to to work another job to supplement your income. I need about 4-8 hours at a time, totalling somewhere between 10 - 20 hours a week. We are looking for someone that is energetic, enjoys singing, dancing and playing with babies, is happy to take our little one for walks in nature, and has fun thinking up new ways to delight and challenge his young brain. Our caregiver must be responsible and dependable, and formal childcare and First Aid training will be assets. We would be especially happy to find someone that speaks a second language or is a non-native English speaker that can begin to expose our baby to new, interesting language skills. Light housekeeping and meal preparation is requested during his naps.
