We are a hardworking Mexican family with an 18 month-old daughter, seeking a live-in caregiver for our babygirl. We are seeking a patient, fun, caring, and hardworking individual. This individual will take our daughter on walks, outings and to attend local programs at the library and elementary school, so someone who enjoys being active in the community is a must. This individual should be playful, and enjoy music, physical activity, and games. The selected candidate will work 40 hours/week Monday to Friday , and some times on Saturdays when needed. This individual will be responsible for light housework and cooking as well. Proficiency in the English language and minimum 2-year experience as a full-time caregiver for children are a must. Spanish will be a great asset. We live in Osoyoos, BC, a lovely small town. Nanny will be treated as one of the family and will be provided with lovely living quarters with private bedroom, if we agree on live-in situation but it is not necessary . We are offering $18/hour. We are happy to take on a sponsorship and are considering nannies that are currently in Canada, as well as those who aren’t. Starting April 2023. Excellent references must be provided. Non-smoker please. Current First Aid and Infant CPR.

We’re visiting for a long weekend and would enjoy a chance to get out without the kids once or twice during our visit, probably on Friday and/or Saturday. My older daughter is 12 and doesn’t need much care except light supervision especially if she is out at the water. My younger daughter is almost 6 and she is very sweet but has some behavioral challenges sometimes, like running off. She will require close supervision, but it should be manageable as long as you’re doing something fun with her, like building in the sand or walking along the water, or even just watching Bluey. Still, she is a bit of a handful for her older sister sometimes, so that’s why I’m looking for childcare. Background check preferred.
