Our family is looking for a caring and reliable nanny for our energetic and sweet toddler boy. He will be 3 years old in December 2023. Work schedule to include some weekdays from around 4:45pm until around 7:30pm, and occasionally some hours on the weekend. May require extended hours on the occasional weeknight (ie until 9:30pm). We are due to have another baby in November 2023, however the nanny will not be responsible for any direct care of the newborn as mom will be on maternity leave. Number of hours needed will increase after the baby is born (i.e. our toddler will need to be picked up every day after daycare for several weeks). Duties to include: -picking up the child from daycare (by 5pm) and bringing him home (we have a car seat, and we require our nanny to have their own car and valid driver's license) -transporting the child to and from the occasional extra-curricular activity if it falls during work schedule -engaging in indoor and outdoor play with the child and reading with him -feeding the child snacks and dinner as needed. May include light meal prep -the child is in the process of being toilet-trained, so will still require changing as needed -light housekeeping as needed Any specialized training (post-secondary training related to child development, CPR and First Aid Certification), prior experience and criminal background check is definitely an asset.
