Nanny Jobs in Hammond

Hi! We are starting the search for a nanny to join our family for when I return to work in July. I am a nurse at local hospital and my husband works from home. We have two wonderful children, our daughter who will be 3 and our son who will be 17 months old. We are located in Hammond/Cheney. We live on 1.5 acres of land with lots of outdoor green space (play structure, large gardens). We are looking for someone who is available for at least 5 hours/day, 2-3 days a week, preferably the same days every week but we can be flexible. We are a pet friendly home with a very affectionate golden doodle and a cat that doesn’t often make an appearance around the children. Must have transportation as we are not accessible by bus - not required to leave the house with the children. The ideal candidate would be someone who loves the outdoors, baking/cooking and crafts and is willing to do these activities with the children. Speaking French is a bonus (mom is bilingual) but not required. We are hoping for someone who is looking for a long term arrangement. Requirements: - CPR/first aid certified - Valid to work in Canada - References - Provide a police record check - Have own transportation (our home is not accessible by bus) Tasks beyond childcare: - Prepares snacks/simple lunch (we often have leftovers) - Cleaning up after children (activities, crafts, toys, meal time) We are willing to offer a competitive rate based on experience and education.
