Hello! We are a warm and caring household with 3 little ones under 5. We are looking for a nanny to begin in January and would work approximately 25-28 hours per week from Tuesday to Friday. We have a dog in the house. Our oldest is in school. Looking to pay between $18-23 per hour. Thank you!

I’m looking for an experienced full-time live-out nanny for my son, he will be almost 14 months at the time. Responsibilities will include: - Preparing meals for him - Feeding him - Tidying up after meals - Changing his diaper - Putting him down for his naps (two naps per day) - Playing with him (inside the house, in the backyard, at the park, going for walks in the stroller, etc.) - Educational activities, such as reading, arts & crafts, flash cards, singing, etc. (this is very important in our family so I am looking for someone who is energetic, creative and engaging, and can keep him stimulated). - When he is napping, you can go ahead and take your required breaks, and with any additional time left we'd like for you to make sure the house is tidy (we have a monthly cleaner so we are not looking for someone to clean our house, but we'd like to make sure its been tidied up before you leave for the day), and ideally to help prepare some family meals on some days (IE; peel potatoes, cut vegetables, etc. We are not looking for a cook, your primary job is to look after our son, I just need someone who can help prep a few things for me that I will then cook once I'm off work.) Other things to note: - Both myself and my husband work from home a few days per week so on most days either he or I will be working from the home office in the basement (you will have the entire upper floors to yourself, as well as a spacious yard). What we're looking for: - Canadian experience and references (minimum 2 references will be required) - Vulnerable sector check (police check) will be required prior to being hired - CPR/ First Aid certified - Reliable transportation to our home - Both my husband and I have extremely demanding and busy jobs, so I need someone who is very punctual and reliable. If you're sick or you can't make it to work for some other reason, advanced notice (as much as possible) is really appreciated, so that we can plan our days accordingly. - Comfortable taking care of an ill child (kids this age are frequently fighting colds and we need someone who is comfortable with that). - Someone who can stick to a schedule/ plan (feeding/ nap schedule) - Someone trust worthy (we want you to become part of our family) - Someone who knows how to be present and attentive to a child.
