Our Family: We’re a busy, growing family of six – mom, dad, daughters aged 3 and 6, and newborn twins born July 1st. Dad is an optometrist in London and mom is a biologist and science journalist who works from home. We’re looking for a nanny to care for the twins 3-4 afternoons per week on weekdays while mom works and/or rests. Older kids will generally be out of the house at summer camp/daycare.
Requirements: We are looking for a cheerful and patient person with prior experience caring for infants, who will not be overwhelmed by two of them at once. CPR and/or first aid training preferred. Must be a non-smoker, comfortable around a large dog, and willing to be masked at all times while working. No errands or driving required
Tasks:
-play with and keep babies stimulated and safely occupied in house or back yard
-clean and diaper babies as needed and bring them to mom for nursing at feeding times (and later to feed them solids at mealtimes)
-put babies down for scheduled naps and do some light housekeeping while they sleep, including picking up toys, tidying, sweeping, chopping vegetables, etc.
Job will begin August 3rd for the entire month from 1pm to 6pm three to fours days per week.
