Patient, compassionate carer looking to make a difference in another’s life
|
I have always been passionate about supporting others which is one of the reasons I decided to study social work and begin a career that allowed me to positively impact another person’s life.
In studying social work, I have learnt the difference simple acts can have on another person. Because of this, I decided to work in community support. This area of work will not only benefit my future studies and career but, more importantly, will enable me to make a difference in another’s life.
While I have not had previous experience in community support work, I have been an employee and supervisor at Woolworths for the last 5 years and have learnt skills of patience, support, time-management, empathy and problem-solving.
All of these traits as well as my compassionate and caring nature will enable me to support all clients to the best of my abilities.
