A fun, caring, and cheerful Disability Support Worker.
|
I am deeply empathetic, and caring and have the ability to connect with people from all walks of life. I have firsthand experience as the older sister of a brother who lives with Cystic Fibrosis and Cerebral Palsy. This has deeply shaped my approach as a support worker, as I am driven by the desire to provide the same level of care and compassion that I wish for my brother.
I am a Support Worker for a twenty-three-year-old woman. My role involves assisting with her daily routines, including dressing, meal preparation, personal grooming, and toileting. I am in regular communication with the client's parents to keep them updated on her care needs and any potential concerns. Additionally, I meticulously follow the client's care plan and maintain detailed documentation of activities in a logbook at her residence. I find great fulfilment in my work with this client as I am deeply passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of others. Furthermore, I actively provide mentorship to help my client initiate conversations with others, explore new interests, and foster an environment conducive to open and supportive communication.
I love working with clients and cannot wait to hear from you.
Thank you!
