| I have just over 2 years experience as a disability support worker with children as young as 8 and as old as 31, with varying complexity in disabilities. My roles included general care needs such as feeding, toileting, cleaning and applying medication; education work such as assistance at school, travel training, minor assistance with homework and general lifestyle training; assistance with daily lifestyle such as cleaning, cooking, shopping and fun outings. I also had one client with severe epilepsy and so have experience and training in emergency support.
