| My name is Franziska, I am 24 years old and I come from Germany. Before I came to Australia I completed my certification as a health care support worker for people with disabilities. During my education I completed several practical internships in various nursing homes. In parallel I worked in a special-care home for children with disabilities. I was responsible for shaping the everyday life of the children, looking after them and taking care of their personal hygiene. I also have experience working with older people with and without disabilities as well as with people who have a mental illness. I really enjoy spending time with my clients and I appreciate the fact that I can make their lives easier, sometimes even with small things. I usually establish a bond with my clients very quickly and learn what their individual needs are.
