| I have pet sat dogs and cats. I have two of my own dogs. I've also owned, cats, rabbits and fish.

| Hi my name is Mel! I am a mum to one beautiful little girl and two amazing dogs! I am very familiar with puppies all the way to elderly dogs. My 14yo dog has dementia so I am well versed in those doggies who may need a little extra TLC! I am confident with large dogs, having been the proud dog mum to dogs in excess of 30kg for most of my adult life. For the better part of a decade, I had a cat growing up and I absolutely love them! To put it shortly, I enjoy spending any amount of time that I can with our special animal counterparts. They are just wonderful! I can't wait to spend time with your special babies, and treat them with love and care, whether that involve a long walk for the bored dog or a simple cuddle session for the quiet lap dog. I have never met a dog or cat that I have not gotten along with and for those pets who may be a little on the shy/scared/cranky side, I have all the patience in the world, and I will take the time to reassure them!

| I believe life would be empty without animals. There was one realization from my experience that they are here to be with you for a purpose.. I've seen many people lives changed because of the love they give to their owners.

| I am studying a Primary Teaching Bachelor at the Univeristy of Newcastle. I am passionate about caring for dogs and I miss my dog, Bambi, who is back at home (as I live on campus). In the past, I have had three hospitality and retail jobs and therefore I have excellent communication and team work skills, especially under pressure. Therefore, those skills would overlap to make sure you dog feels safe, comfortable and happy. I would appreciate the opportunity to build a professional reputation and also support myself through Univeristy.

| Since the age of 4 I have lived on a property of 10 acres with animals of all sizes, ages, and type turning me into a massive pet lover. I currently have 3 three dogs - two Labradors, and a cavoodle, and 1 ginger cat amongst other pets. I regularly take my dogs on walks as i'm a very active person and love to bring them along with me. I'm just looking for a bit of extra work outside of my disability support working role and would love for that to be taking care of animals.
