| Hi, I am Julina and I am 22 years old. I am passionate about animals, whether they be furry, feathered or scaly! I completed Agricultural Science in high school with a high distinction. I was able to learn about the rights and freedoms of animals with hands-on experience (class was held on the school farm and we often spent time in the fields with our Suffolk sheep herd, miniature horses and chickens). I am calm and patient with animals and am considered the 'favourite human' amongst my friend's and family's pets. I understand the body language animals, and often research the behaviours and habits of pets. I currently live with a beautiful German Shepherd and often pet-sit him for days at a time, where I am responsible for feeding him his raw food diet, giving oral medication, taking him for walks, and keeping the house and yard clean (vacuuming fur, cleaning spills, and disposing of waste). I have a basic understanding of animal first-aid (including feline and canine Heimlich manoeuvres) and a thorough understanding of human first-aid.
