Karen
Pet sitter

My name is Karen, and my journey as a pet sitter began during the 12 years I lived in Switzerland.
I wanted to become a pet sitter because I feel a deep, spiritual connection to animals and their calming presence. Caring for pets allows me to experience a unique bond where I can nurture and support them, bringing a sense of peace and joy to both of us. For me, spending time with animals feels like a grounding practice, connecting me with the natural world and enhancing my overall well-being.
In my experience as a pet sitter, I've often worked with pets whose owners described them as challenging—some were described as complicated, others as disobedient, and a few even displayed signs of aggression. However, with patience, love, and dedicated care, I’ve found ways to ease these behaviors. By creating a calm and consistent environment, I encourage trust and understanding, which helps the pets feel more secure and open to positive behavior. Over time, many of these animals begin to respond to gentle guidance and care, showing noticeable improvements in temperament and obedience, much to their owners' delight.
