| I always have small dogs at home and a cat. Consequently, friends or relatives send their pets to me to look after them while they went on holidays. I prefer to look after the pet in my own home no more than a dog (medium si or 2 small size) at the time as I live in a town house. My house is clean and cosy . They are free to walk in and out of the house and have access to fresh water and dry food. Plenty hugs and love if they are happy to receive it. Fresh water and dry food serve at all times.
