I would spend time with your pet, and make them feel at home by keeping their normal routines.

I have owned and worked with dogs my whole life, having owned 4. I love all types of animals no matter how big or how small and would provide care that isn't only suitable for the animal, but the owner as well. I love walking and would be able to take pets on long walks, as well as keep them active the way you like. Most of my experience comes from dogs specifically but have been constantly around and owned cats and small rodents.
