Always first to raised my hand when the animal handler asks “who wants to hold the crocodile”.

I have been surrounded by animals my whole life and cared for a vast range. From bathing our feisty 17YO cat to becoming a tree to a gang of wild cockatoos, lorikeets and rosellas. I cared for our cat through her battle with an aggressive cancer, which included providing daily water and food, petting, eventual syringe feeding, hours of flea combing, vitamin injections and even a few cat-baths (I have the battle scars to prove it). I love walking, running and playing with animals.
My family has a history with rescuing wildlife, including raising a wild hatchling (feed every 1/2hr from dawn), patching up a wounded blue tongue lizard, & (perhaps the craziest) swinging a baby bird to expel water from the lungs. They all recovered well.
We have owned 1 cat, 2 bunnies, 2 long-haired guinea pigs, 2 mice and an assortment of wild animals such as geckos and bugs.
Handled exotics such as snakes, frogs, sugar gliders & turtles.
Minded friend’s pets, and though not owning one myself, I have walked and played with dogs.
P.S. I wrote “10+ years experience” because I have cared for animals my whole life and stating “no experience” didn’t seem right.
