| As a passionate animal lover with a strong desire to pursue a career in veterinary nursing and with my upcoming enrollment in the Animal Studies Cert III course starting in January, I am eager to gain more hands-on experience and skills that will complement my theoretical learning. Currently, I am studying part-time at the University of the Sunshine Coast, with a major in Sociology and minors in behavioral science and international studies. I am a dedicated casual employee at a plant nursery in Doonan as well as an enthusiastic volunteer at the RSPCA. I have been having the privilege of spending time with dogs and gaining valuable experience walking and caring for them. This role has not only allowed me to develop my communication skills and build confidence, but also provided me with a deeper understanding of animal behavior and welfare.

My background includes performing a variety of tasks to ensure full animal care, including providing food and water, cleaning up animal waste, grooming pets, walking dogs and of course providing general companionship. Additionally, I can provide daytime/evening or overnight sits. | Reliable/punctual/caring. I have personal experience with cats, dogs, small pets and fish. Most of my experience comes from working at a dog kennels which also bred and trained dogs. This, alongside my role working at a cattery and being responsible for many animals at one time alongside feeding, grooming and very importantly, their happiness, means I am very competent for the job, additionally, I love doing it!
