I am an animal lover (always that person who plays with pets at a party) who has always wanted pets, but unfortunately due to time and commitments restriction when I was a child, we decided not to have any pets as it would not be fair on them if we were not able to give all of our time and energy towards them. However now that we have all grown up, we are looking to get pets of our own (not yet!) but are more than happy to also look after yours in the meantime. | I am a retired mature woman recently returned home to Western Australia from working in the United States. I have 10 years of previous veterinary nursing and pet sitting experience. I volunteered for the Humane Society and worked on a travelling Spay/Neuter Health Clinic in the US. I loved working with animals and would love to be the surroPet mother for your animals while you are away!

| I’ve had pets of my own for over a decade. I currently own a 2 year old ginger tabby named Milo, and a 6 year old Australian Terrier called Angus. They are both my pride and joy, and are definitely mummy’s boys! I am frequently called the “animal whisperer”. I care for all animals as if they are my own, and find animals pick up easily on my kind and nurturing nature. My partner makes jokes about the fact if I see I wandering cat on the street I’ll instantly assume it’s homeless/in need of help, and have this innate instinct to rescue it (even though they are perfectly ok/have a home to go!) I have taken care of small - large size dogs, have walked them, puppy-sat them, and know how important it is for them to be entertained. Walking them will not be an issue, as I love to run outside with my own dog and make sure he gets as much exercise as possible.
