| I have loved animals ever since I was a little girl. I used to say to people that when I grew up I wanted to be a vet. I would nag my parents so much to allow us to have our own pet but it wasn't until I was around 7 years old that we had our first family pet... a little English rabbit we named Starski who we loved to bits. Since then, I have been lucky enough to be involved with animals throughout my childhood. We have looked after and raised 4 Labradors who were trained to become customs dogs and we have been there for our friends by caring for their dogs whenever they went away. Also, we volunteered with GAR and fostered both cats and dogs until they were adopted by their forever families. Altogether, my family and I have fostered around 8 dogs and 3 cats during our time with GAR. I would love to share my adoration for animals with other families and their pets.
