I am a woman who is independent and a sole parent of 3 grown children. I have over 10 years experience working in disability residential homes.
In the disability homes I completed the following tasks on an ongoing basis - house work, keeping the house clean, domestic tasks such as cleaning, cooking and laundry.
I provided individuals with social outings such as going to the shops, shopping, going to the club for lunch, going out to a restaurant for a meal, going on a holiday to the beach for the weekend.
I assisted with personal care of the people living in the residential homes.
I provided transport to social outings and appointments as needed
