I grew up on a 500 acre property, that is completely off grid.There was no other choice other than to work and work hard every day just to have a shower with hot water had to light a fire so chopping wood was a necessity. Keeping the lawn trimmed, pump water every 3 days. Weed gardens, maintain and harvest fruit and vegetables.
