I have worked in multiple boarding schools since 2018 where I have been responsible for students aged 11-18. My duties included pastoral care, supervision of activities, tutoring during homework times, and being on call overnight. I always loved learning during school, and I have continued this passion into university where I have done 1 year of a Bachelor of Medical Science, and am now currently studying a Bachelor of Health Science majoring in Naturopathy. I love working with students and sharing my own knowledge, especially when they get that “light bulb” moment. I am a very carefree person, always seeing the lightheartedness in every situation. I grew up on a small property with my family, so animals are a big part of my life. I believe this type of childhood has made me feel very connected to nature and I try and get outside as much as I can. In regards to my studies....I am a realist, not a purist! I’m not perfect and sometimes I don’t get the “perfect score”. I aspire to pass this onto my students; it’s okay to fail, it’s okay to make mistakes...that’s what REAL learning consists of.
