I have prepared a crash course for beginners that consists of 12 1-hour long lessons using powerpoint presentation slides. Come join me for 3 months to kickstart a lifelong journey in learning Mandarin! I am comfortable with conversational Mandarin as I speak it at home. I attained A1 for Higher Chinese in my GCE O-Level examination and some of my work were featured as model essays for my classmates. Besides Mandarin, I am proficient at English. I represented my school at the National Secondary Schools Translation Competition I believe my greatest strength to be in grasping the nuances of words. Having travelled as a backpacker in the last few years, I have met people from around the world and developed a sensitivity for other cultures. I taught Mandarin to some of them, even those who had no knowledge at all. Those whom I have taught describe me as a kind, patient and dedicated teacher.
