Hi, I'm Ruth! I have recently graduated with a Bachelor of Philosophy - Science (Hons) in molecular cell biology, immunology, and biochemistry at the ANU. In Year 12 I was placed in the top 99.95% nationally and achieved above 95% for Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Geography, and English. I absolutely love science and have dedicated hundreds of hours over the last two years in five different biology/chemistry research labs working as a research assistant. I’m also incredibly passionate about science communication and I deeply appreciate the need to make complex scientific principles accessible to people of all ages and educational backgrounds as is evidenced, for example, by my active contribution to ANU’s Science Communication Magazine aimed at students in Years 10-12 and my volunteering at Questacon. I hope to assist students in obtaining the grades they want through teaching the necessary skills required to understand and apply content as well as assisting with homework and assignments. I'm available to tutor Biology, Chemistry, Geography, and English in a private, bookable room at the ANU.
