I am a current University student in my third year of a Bachelor of Secondary Education, specialising in English, Society and Culture/HSIE and Special Education. I have experience teaching in secondary HSIE, English, and Special Education classrooms through placements as part of my degree, as well as volunteer experience tutoring Nepalese ESL students in conversational English and as a tutor/classroom assistant for students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder at a Special Education school. I also work as a subject specific tutor for a Sociology course at university and have worked in a similar role as a tutor for academic writing/referencing at a university level. As someone who once struggled and now excels at academic learning, I know no two students will learn the same way. I am passionate about differentiating content into different styles to best suit the individual needs of each student and help them achieve to the best of their ability.
