I have been working with people with a disability for 9+ years as a teacher aide at special schools and disability support worker for children and adults. My goal is to assist clients to reach their long term and daily goals. I have a Certificate 3 in Disability Support. I have a person-centred approach. I am skilled at catering for physical and intellectual needs, following positive behaviour plans, and making sure my clients have a fun day. I am confident supporting people with high physical needs such as quadriplegia, tube feeding, ileostomy bags, personal care such as showering etc.
