I'm a flexible and caring worker who loves this type of work. It's more than just a job, it's a way to help families out and give them the care and respect that they deserve. I see myself as an extension of the family, not only providing care to those with special needs, but also being that person who the family can rely on. I've worked with clients with a range of special needs from autism, to non verbal, to ABIs. I really enjoy this work as I feel like I am giving back and it gives my life meaning. I've worked with kids from age 5, up to 19 year old's. I have no favourite age as all ages have their special behaviours that I enjoy getting to know.
