My younger sister is intellectually handicapped and I am extremely familiar with Down Syndrome and Autism due to the positions have held and my experience caring for her. In addition, I also have a significant amount of experience working with kids who are not disabled- amongst other settings I have worked in infant nurseries, camp childcare programs, and for private families.
