My own son is now 15 years old and he has Cerebral Palsy, Intellectual Disability, Severe Speech and Language Disorder plus ADHD. As he was growing, I wish I had the opportunity to have someone who understood what having a special needs child was like to provide care from time to time. It’s daunting and doesn’t always work having someone care for a special needs child if they have not experienced it themselves. I have worked in classroom support at multiple schools with students with disability. This has been in both DfE schools and private. I have a passion for meeting the needs of families with children who have additional needs as I know how hard it can be. I can provide short, whole day respite and also deliver at home therapy programs that have been written by the child’s therapists I look forward to hearing from you
