I am an enthusiastic and open minded individual. I have a strong work ethic and enjoy working as part of a team as well as on my own initiative. I am a confident individual who will take any challenge in my stride and try to achieve the best I can in all tasks undertaken. With my varied but lengthy experience in hospitality (17 years) I particularly enjoy interacting in a face to face environment. 

I am working currently towards finishing my Cert IV in Disability Support, having completed all the theory & voluntary work & am waiting to organise a final assessment as soon as possible. I spent 5 months working for Autism Spectrum Disorder – Aspect where I learned a great deal. I work very well with people & have found that I have good skills being able to communicate effectively & understand a clients needs, despite most of the clients at Aspect being non-verbal. While I am currently finishing my Cert IV in disability, I am still volunteering at genU in Reservoir (where I did my voluntary section of my Cert IV) as I feel I have formed a real connection with some of the students & management ask me to help out with day outings in the community.
