My brother was severely autistic and through many years of caring for him I gained invaluable life skills, and compassion to care for people with special needs. I was also the live-in carer for my mother after she had a stroke. I catered for all her living requirements and daily support, including helping her with remedial exercises to help her regain the capacity to walk. I run creative workshops to engage people in interesting activities as I believe art is a wonderful way to connect to life and nature and our relationship to each other.
