I am a disability support worker who has a professional experience of 4 years in the industry and 10 years of personal experience caring for those with complex physical and behavioural needs/abilities. I have recently decided to get back into the industry after taking a break for a couple of years while I have been travelling and working other roles, and I am absolutely loving it. I am looking for a role that better suits my energy and experience while I study to be a special education teacher for primary students and would love the opportunity to work with children and younger individuals who have special needs. I strive to make every day a step closer to independence for everyone, and dedicate my career in caring to helping everyone to live to the best of their abilities, with the best support system possible. I am an advocate for early intervention and support and would like to start proving these supports for others. I am experienced caring for those from ages 2-70 years of age and have covered a wide range of care, as well as constantly educating myself and keeping up with training when tending to a client with different abilities.
