Hi ! My names Jade, I am 25 years old and have had 2 years experience with working 1x1 with clients with Mental health and disabilities. In my previous job I worked with 10 clients in a SIL accommodation. This has taught me working independently 1x1 with a client and also how to maintain a good work environment with dealing more than one client at a time. I have worked with various clientele, with different disabilities or mental health, and have a good understanding with, - schizophrenia - personality disorders - intellectual disability - ADHD, Autism, Asperger’s syndrome, OCD. With my job role I would love my clients to remain as independent in their own home as possible and support where it may be needed. This could be with helping with domestic cleaning, showering, meal preparation, supporting my clients in the community, on an outing or to any appointment. I take pride In my work and always aim to have a caring professional relationships with my clients. I work hard to understand each and everyone of my clients and always their families, and respect my clients boundaries. I have also done a lot of online training with my previous work on Asthma plans, swallowing and nutrition.
