I have a Cert IV in Disability Services which I gained through Dept. Of Communities Child Safety and Disability Services. I have also completed a Cert IV in Community Service at South Metropolitan Institute of TAFE. I am a qualified Family Support Worker specialising in preventing homelessness to families in need. I enjoy the work I do as I love to see my achievements and see the impact I can have on people with high needs and facing a difficult times in their lives. Whether it be someone with a disability or a family going through domestic violence or facing homelessness I enjoy assisting and caring for people. I am a mother of 3 sons aged 21, 18 and 13 yrs old and I feel being a parent comes into play as I'm a caring and responsible person and love to work out strategies that are feasible and will be easy for all to achieve. The way I am with my own children and our situations we face from day to day is the way that I treat other people's challenges and difficult times.
