My special needs experience involves looking after children with autism, and mobility difficulties such as cerebral palsy. I am extremely patient, and I believe this is one of the strongest attributes when caring for someone with special needs. I have over 2 years experience in this area, one being full time care of my brother, and another with a separate family. I also studied child development, which covered a wide topic of disabilities.
