I started volunteering at a local youth club for children with special needs at 15, I discovered my passion. I went to work in an array of settings including a special needs school, group home, summer camp, and respite care. I have experience with a variety of disabilities including but not limited to cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injuries, developmental delay, Down syndrome, angelman syndrome. I use an individual based approach and take time to get to know the child. I love being around children and helping them reach their full potentials and creating the perfect environment for them to do so.
