I am currently working as an SLSO at a SSP school. My roles include assisting students with school routines and classroom activities,implementation of individual educational programs and individual transition programs. Perform gastrostomy and nasogastric tube feeding, toileting and suctioning of tracheotomy tubes. I have a previous 2 years experience working as a room leader in early childhood education. I provided care for infants and young children aged 0-5. Preparation of materials and equipment for children's education and recreational activities, managing behaviour and supporting their social development, planning and coordinating activities, entertainment through reading and playing games. It gives me great satisfaction knowing I am being a positive influence in their lives and helping them learn in an age appropriate manner.
