I have worked with children & adults with ASD for the last the years in England through this I’ve gained lots of knowledge & strategies on how to provide the best support. I am very easy to get along with as well as being an excellent communicator, I recognise that individuals on the autism spectrum may have barriers to communication with makes the way we communicate person centred. It is important for all aspects in support are person centred. I have worked with children & adults who can frequently display challenging behaviour therefore I’m trained in low arousal techniques to defuse a situation without strong physical intervention, I am able to use distraction techniques to avoid triggers that may cause anxieties & I have a keen eye for detail as well as being observant therefore can normally avoid potential triggers before any upset it caused.
