For a little over a year I have worked as a disability support worker for a 39 year old down symdrome lady, who has had a stroke, therefore has trouble communicating and moving. I also care for a 20 year male, who have speech and processing delays and epilepsy, he also does not speak. I currently also coach disabled children in a rugby program who all have a range of disabilities including autism, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, cognitive disorders and rare chromosome disorders. The children are male and female aged from 6-17.
