Hi, my name is Grace, I’m 22 and have been working as an education support worker in a special developmental school for the past 3 years. I have experience caring for children with ASD, ADHD, mobility disorders, learning disabilities and more ranging from ages 6-18. I am passionate about helping children with special needs & enjoy the process of getting to know each individual child. I have been trained to use hoists to assist those with mobility disorders and physical disabilities. I experience in classroom assistance and also everyday care, including changing nappies, helping with toileting, meal assistance and more. I have also assisted in swim classes with special needs children from the ages 6-18. I am currently undertaking my diploma of early childhood education and care.
